Exploring areas less traveled through ancient dunes, my eyes hungrily scanned the sea of fine layers. Throughout the slopes were sprays of lichen, splashes of varnish, and splotches of concentrated minerals. Suddenly my gaze fell upon this small patch of sandstone art and I was transported to another planet. A landscape within a landscape.
