A solo weekend of camping, roaming, and photoing a couple of autumns ago led me to one of my favorite places in the southwest. I didn't have much planned--just a general idea of where I wanted to drive and where I might find free camping. It turned out to be a trip filled with inspiration, introspection, and full on photographic flow.
